Adult Social Care & The Care Act
We help local authorities publish high quality care information and advice so that people can make informed decisions about their future.
A one-stop, personalised resource of information.
We use 'scenarios' to build a personalised resource of information and advice. There is no reliance on search, or to know what to search for - people are naturally guided to content appropriate to them and their circumstances with little effort, creating the best and most efficient user experience.
Customise and configure your own solution.
Our Care Act platform is completely flexible; choose from a range of components including service directories, event calendars, resource libraries, blogs, care support plan tools, equipment catalogues and much more; even extend your social care web site to a dedicated smartphone App.
Functionality designed to change everyday life.
An events calendar that helps reduce social isolation and gets people out into their community. A product finder that lets people source and purchase equipment to help them live longer at home. Our solutions are designed to help local authority teams make real differences to peoples lives.
Raising vital revenue to provide sustainability.
More and more local authorities we work with are considering using their IAG web sites to generate revenue and be sustainable. Our social care web sites and Apps can be extended to include paid-for content, enhanced service / event listings and controlled advertising opportunities.
Reducing administration and strain on local authority teams.
Responsibility for managing data is passed to service providers but with moderation to ensure local authorities are in control. First line support teams can benefit from better signposting to services, events and other resources - reducing intervention and need for assessment.
Quality assurance with ISO9001:2008
All projects are governed by our ISO9001:2008 certified quality management systems. We have been supplying the public sector since 2004 and our products and services are available on the UK Government's Digital Marketplace.
Hartlepool Now helps Hartlepool Borough Council meet information duties from The Care Act.
The web site includes a wealth of information, advice and guidance as well as searchable directories of local services, activities and events. There is also a mobility equipment finder to help people find products to make day-to-day life easier.
Alongside the web site is the Hartlepool Now App which syncs all content from the web site and makes it available and searchable, even where an internet connection is not available. The App is being used by community and social teams at Hartlepool to provide information to people who may have been traditionally hard to reach.
