Every year, during Care Leavers Week, we take a moment to honour the incredible journeys of care leavers - individuals who have faced unique challenges, overcome adversity, and emerged as resilient, champions of their own lives. At focusgov, we are deeply committed to supporting care leavers on their path to independence, and this week gives us an opportunity to reflect on their incredible stories. 
 
Let's celebrate the strength, determination, and potential of care leavers and continue to work towards a brighter future for them. 

Care Leavers Week is not just an ordinary event; it's a symbol of our collective commitment to recognizing the experiences and struggles of care leavers. It's an opportunity to acknowledge their achievements, reflect on the challenges they face, and renew our dedication to helping them thrive.

While we celebrate the successes, it's important to recognise that there is still work to be done. Many care leavers continue to face challenges like finding stable housing, accessing education, and building a support network. Care Leavers Week serves as a call to action for individuals, organisations, and policymakers to continue their efforts to improve the lives of care leavers.
