Frontend Web Developer
As a frontend developer at focusgov I am responsible for creating the user interface (UI) and enhancing the user experience (UX) of a website or web application. I collaborate closely with our designer and backend developers to bring the visual and interactive elements of a digital product to life.
There are many aspects of my role but one of the most crucial being accessibility. It is my responsibility to ensure that the user interfaces I develop are usable and accessible to all users including those with disabilities, by following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
What does tech for good mean to you?
To me, "tech for good" refers to the concept of leveraging technology and innovation to create positive social impact and address important global challenges. It encompasses the idea of using technology as a tool to improve people's lives, promote equality, sustainability, and address societal problems.
